Action and contemplation are traditional terms that, in a philosophical and theological context, denote two fundamental dimensions of human life: on the one hand, the contemplative, intellectual, or mystical, and on the other, the active, creative, related to other people.
The symposium wants to reflect on the search for distance from practical activity and experiencing the contemplative element of life in the midst of everyday life or the spiritual dimension of social commitment to others.
