Employment possibilities of the graduate

A graduate of the branch of Theology of Service can find employment as a worker in the field of pastoral care, education or in the social sphere. The study takes into account the fact that working with people is to a large extent connected with religious and worldview motives. The theological competence of the graduate does not remain with a superficial understanding of the Christian duty to help their neighbour, but it is rooted in biblical foundations and systematically theologically developed and analysed. The graduate has a qualification for creative and research work with interdisciplinary overlap (especially in communication between theology and the helping professions).

Characteristics of the study branch

Our Theology study is Catholic-oriented but at the same time ecumenically open, scientifically based and also focused on practical Christian life. The study is open to a wide range of Christians of all faiths and people interested in Christianity. It is designed primarily for those interested in working in the helping professions – such as the social sphere, health care, education and those want to reflect and systematically take into account Christian motivation in their work and on this basis deepen and improve the professional side of their profession.
