Employment possibilities of the graduate

Graduates of the follow-up master’s branch of Ethics in Social Work will find employment in the social sphere, and they are able to organise people with regard to the human and ethical dimension of social issues; in their work they can take into account not only economic and organisational and technical factors, but also ethical and religious factors; the branch assumes the fact that social work provides employees with space for decision-making, confronts them with dilemmas for which a solution also requires an ethical point of view, or ethically based argumentation. Social work is understood here in connection with ethical and worldview motives both on the part of clients and on the part of social workers and society. The graduate is aware of these ideological and ethical motives, respects them, is well versed in them, and can actively help in solving conflicts and problems where these factors play a significant role. The master’s branch provides professional qualification primarily for the performance of social and charity work in state, private, church and voluntary organisations, especially in leadership positions. The graduate is also qualified to perform creative and research work.
