Admission procedures
How to aply
- Before applying please contact the guarantor of the programme (see contact below) to arrange a supervisor and a topic of an intended doctoral thesis.
- See the web studyin.cz , especially "study" and "how to apply" (https://www.studyin.cz/plan-your-studies/how-to-apply/).
- Be careful to prepare an assessment of your prior education in time. The conditions depend on the country you apply from (https://www.jcu.cz/images/UNIVERZITA/Dokumenty/opatreni-rektora/platna-opatreni/2020/r_450_-assessing-compliance-update-annex-2-2024.pdf). The deadline for submitting is the enrolment to the study (mid-August).
- Be careful to apply for a visa in time, if visa is needed for your study in the Czech Republic.
- April 30: Application
1. electronic submitting of the application (https://wstag.jcu.cz/portal/studium/uchazec/eprihlaska.html?pc_lang=en) together with
a) project of doctoral thesis
b) list of publications and educational or other activities related to the doctoral study
2. payment of a application fee (CZK 700)
- June 13: Admission procedure at the Faculty of Theology
It consists of the following parts:
1. written language test
2. oral interview:
a) on the written presentation of current publishing and educational activities in the field
b) on the written proposal of the dissertation project
