Studying at the Faculty of Theology

Dear international students, 

We are very happy that you are interested in exchange incoming mobilities at our Faculty of Theology.

In its research and teaching activities the faculty focuses on theology and philosophy, as well as social work and education where the emphasis is put on Christian ethical and social values. In case you are interested in studying at our faculty you can choose from a range of bachelor'smaster's and doctoral programmes, as well as programmes of lifelong learning.

To be our exchange incoming student you must do: 

First of all you need to be nominated by your home university coordinator. 

Once your nomination is submitted we will send you the first email for exchange students with detailed information about all the neccessary administrative steps (application, learning agreement).

After application you will have to prepare your learning agreement.
You will be able to choose the courses which are taught in English (courses offered within the master´s study program Helping Professions in Civil Society) or courses in English (within our Czech study programs) or the courses which are taought in Czech (lecturers can provide English materials and students will be expected to familiarise themselves with the materials and fulfil the requirements, such as making a presentation, written paper, etc.
Our courses cover five main areas of study: Philosophy, Theology, Religious Studes, Leisure Time Education and Social Work.

To be able to orientate yourselves in the courses please see these list of courses. Please be aware that the faculty Erasmus+ coordinator has to always check whether the course will be opened in the particular semester.

You may also want to choose from the courses offered by the whole university (its other faculties) - in that case see the course catalogue. Please note that at least 50% of your courses must be taken at Faculty of Theology. Please be aware that your official nomination, sent by the International Office of your home university, must be received no later than 30/04/2025 for the winter semester and 31/10/2025 for the summer semester. The deadline for online registration is 15/05/2025 for the winter semester 2025/2026 and 15/11/2025 for the summer semester 2025/2026.
