On 30 August 2023 dr. Veronika Zvánovcová and her team visited Cavendish University Zambia, Lusaka, (CUZ) where she discussed possibilities of further cooperation between the universities. As a result the mutual Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which opens new possibilities for the Faculty of Theology as well as the University of South Bohemia in České Budejovice (USB) in general.
At the beginning of the meeting she introduced our faculty and informed the participants about the mail research areas the Faculty of Theology focuses on. The two-hour discussion gave space for sharing ideas and plans for the future.
Main discussed points of cooperation were:
• student exchanges,
• communication in the field of science and research,
• cooperation on other projects.
Representatives of CUZ expressed their considerable interest in building new projects in the fields of social work, theology and religious studies. The academics were also interested in the possibilities of cooperation with other faculties at USB.
We look forward to future cooperation and believe that our mutual partnership will be beneficial for both parties.
