About the programme

The Master´s degree in Theology builds directly on the undergraduate program. While the Bachelor´s program covers all the foundational theological disciplines, the Master´s program focuses on deepening four core areas: systematic theology, ethics, biblical studies, and church history. As a Master´s degree in Theology qualifies graduates to teach religion in schools, the program also includes a block of courses in religious education and didactics. Students are trained to think critically, formulate, and defend their own theological conclusions, all grounded in a thorough knowledge of the sources, scholarly literature, and both historical and contemporary contexts.
