Religious Studies

WERE WE CREATED BY GOD OR EVOLUTION?

In other words, who is right, religion or science? Do they necessarily have to be mutually incompatible? And are people looking for the truth, or rather the meaning? Is there a difference between the two? A religionist will not give you a clear answer. His job is not to expose mistakes and to confirm the only correct opinions. But he/she will listen to stories from different sides about how humans explain their place in the world. Do you want to join? Come and study Religious Studies at FT USB.

SHALL WE LIVE BY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?

Or by Five Commandments, as defined by Buddhists. Various religions have sought important advice for interpersonal relationships. They agree on some, such as don’t steal or lie. Maybe it can be summed up in the golden rule ‘don't do to others, what you don't want others to do to you’. Do you agree? Come and discuss this within the study of Religious Studies at FT USB.

HOW WAS THE FIRST RELIGION CREATED

This question has challenged even the first religionists. Did it all start with the idea of soul, encounters with impersonal powers of nature, or attempts to control men’s surroundings with the help of magic? At present, new religions are emerging and others are disappearing. If you want to ask about the function of religion today, come and study Religious Studies at FT USB.

DO YOU KNOW HOW SECTS HUNT?

On the Internet and on the streets of cities. To do this, they use various strategies to trap motivated followers and financial resources for their operation. Does it remind you of marketing? As part of Religious Studies at FT USB, we discuss the strategy for the success of new religious movements, and we notice sectarian elements even where you would not expect them.
