Together with colleagues from the Academy of Sciences and Western Bohemian University, Dr Daniel Novotný from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies has introduced the Czech and Slovak translation of the John Snow Memorandum. It was published as the “Scientific consensus on the COVID-19 pandemic: we need to act now” in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet. It has been also supported by dozens of prominent Czech and Slovak experts. The translation and introduction is published on the website “Epidemic Ethics” of the Karel Čapek Center for Values in Science and Technology.
